Again this year Benefit Commerce Group (BCG) participated in the Adopt a Family program through Team Jaydie. We loaded up gifts selected for family members and brought them to Team Jaydie’s collection site.
This program provides holiday gifts of clothing, toys for kids and other items that families specifically need. They started the program early this year, and that allowed them to help 106 families, including the two with children that we sponsored.
We were able to purchase a full outfit, jacket, socks and shoes for each family member and additional items they specifically requested. And we bought gift cards with the remaining funds at their preferred stores.
It’s a great way to reach out and directly help our community!
Team Jaydie supports families whose children are undergoing treatment at Phoenix Children’s Hospital for tumors, cancer, and other blood disorders.
We used wish lists provided by each family, which helped us provide gifts that have real meaning to each child and each adult in the family.
All the gifts were wrapped by Team Jaydie, and the families picked up their items last weekend.
At Benefit Commerce Group, our employees are very generous of their time and donations, and we are so grateful to Team Jaydie for making this program possible and making a wonderful holiday for so many families!
