The commercial property and casualty consulting firm known as Schwartz Insurance Agency, which is part of Benefit Commerce Group (BCG), an Alera Group Company, is rebranding as BCG’s Property & Casualty Division. This change was effective September 1st. The firm has been a division of Benefit Commerce Group since joining Alera Group in November of 2021.

“The purpose of this change is to align the division with BCG and also Alera Group, our national organization that provides expanded tools and resources for this division and its clients,” said Scott Wood, Managing Partner and Principal of BCG. The division will use a logo that jointly depicts BCG and Alera Group.

Alan “Duke” Schwartz, whose family founded Schwartz Insurance Agency, continues as President of BCG’s Property and Casualty Division.
