Challenge:
We were introduced to this 200-employee software company by our Commercial Property & Casualty team. After an initial review of their benefits programs, we benchmarked them against other employers. We identified areas where we could enhance benefits for their employees and achieve significant cost savings. We also found a number of quite significant compliance concerns which had the potential for very large penalties.

Solution:

We developed a multi-year strategy to improve their plan funding model and enhance their Rx rebate share from zero to 100%. We negotiated a better renewal deal with their medical carrier and added Garner Health to their program, providing employees access to a fund that paid the first $1,000 individual/$2,000 family when they used top quality providers, without changing their benefit plan design or network. We also completed an onboarding audit of their compliance requirements.

Impact:

Improved benefits at a lower cost, without changing their plan design, carrier or network. Employee cost share was reduced. Action was taken to put them in compliance with various regulatory requirements.
